Geographic diversification will become a more prominent deal driver. The primary U.S. markets—Northern Virginia, Dallas, Chicago, Silicon Valley, Phoenix—are increasingly power-constrained and politically complicated. Acquirers are already moving into secondary markets like Columbus, Salt Lake City, and Reno, as well as international markets with favorable power costs and developing regulatory frameworks.
